Everything you need to know about All Sport One City
Yes, it is completely free. Online registration is highly encouraged to guarantee your spot.
Registrations will close 24 hours prior to the session, unless otherwise indicated.
Sport Calgary is working to streamline processes that make it and more efficient and easily accessible to all potential participants.
The registration information will go to different sport groups and some sessions have different requirements or waivers.
At least 10-15 minutes early, unless otherwise stated in your event details. Please use common sense, and factor in parking, travel, and depending on the event, time to fill out a waiver form, or time to change beforehand (e.g. swimsuit).
Location details will be on your ticket or registration confirmation email.
Each facility is different. Unless a location is specified on EventCreate, please enquire at that facility’s guest services desk upon arrival.
Most sessions have free parking available. Please follow the posted regulations for the facility you will be attending. All Sport One City participants may take public transit, or pay for parking.
Comfortable athletic attire, clean indoor running shoes and a bottle of water is recommended. Any additional required items are specified on the event listing on the registration portal. A swimsuit is required for aquatic sessions.
If the activity is outdoor, please dress for the weather.
No. If a given sport (all sessions) has reached capacity, the session is full. You will need to check to see if a spot becomes available.
Check your email confirmation, click on “View Registration”, scroll down to find your event. WARNING: If you cancel your registration, ALL your sessions will be cancelled. If you require an individual session cancellation, please email events@sportcalgary.ca with the details from your ticket: Session – Location, Date, Time
Sport Calgary’s participation and media waivers are completed online through the session registration process. All required waivers will be available onsite at check-in on the day of your session. Plan to arrive early enough to fill out this form prior to the published start time.
Yes, you can accept or decline the media waiver during the registration process.
If your session is canceled, you will be notified via email. This is most likely going to occur if a given session has very low registration numbers, so be sure to tell your friends about All Sport One City on social media!
In the event of a cancellation, we recommend you look and register for a different session on our registration portal.

Anyone age 18 or older, unless otherwise specified in the activity description (For example, some sessions are intended for women or families only, or specific age groups.)
Most activities are accessible or can be modified for those with physical disabilities or mobility issues. Email Sport Calgary at events@sportcalgary.ca if you have any specific concerns. Some sessions may allow teens of age 14+ to join in the sessions with their parents. Check the age requirements on the session details.
You can sign up for as many sessions as you are able to attend! However, you will only be permitted to select a maximum of 10 tickets in one registration session. You can complete another registration session and select another 10 tickets.
You will have to be on the lookout for time/location conflicts if you are registering for multiple sessions. Conflicting and overlapping bookings will be cancelled.
We only request that you attend all the sessions you registered for.
Yes! If you cannot come to your session, please cancel with us at events@sportcalgary.ca as soon as possible so someone else can use your spot.
If cancellations are made within 48 hours of the session, it is unlikely that another person will be able to register, so please plan accordingly.
You can deregister by sending us a quick email at events@sportcalgary.ca with the details (the email address used to register, the session title and the date and time you wish to cancel).
Absolutely! We encourage you to bring as many friends as you can. The more the merrier!
The only way to guarantee a spot is to register in advance. Most sessions will also accept drop-ins if they have enough space.
Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation with your PDF tickets attached. Please have them readily available when you attend your session.
Your PDF tickets are accessible via your email confirmation. They can be accessed via computer or the email application on your mobile phone.
Yes, a printed paper copy or the electronic copy on your phone is your ticket to the session! Sport organizations will use the ticket to confirm that you are on their attendance list.
Yes, you will get an email around 24 hours prior to the session that will highlight/remind you of your session and details!
If you enjoy your session, be sure to talk with your instructor afterwards about how you can get involved. Otherwise, take a look at our Members page, and contact your session provider via their website.
By attending and participating in your session! Once you’ve checked in with the sport group, you’re in! Sport groups will then send back their attendance list and you’ll be entered into the draw!
