HIGH PERFORMANCE

Mission Statement:

To promote high performance archery in all its forms with the goal of achieving excellence on the national and world stage, by creating standards, policies and programs for managing high performance archers in Alberta.


High Performance Defined:

High Performance Archery is the development of programs and solutions for Archers interested in National and International goals and are set on a mission to achieve it. This contracts with casual archers who are just out to injoy the sport.


The BEST Method:

National Head Coach Kisik Lee developed the BEST Method for competitive archery while coaching the Korean National Team. The Korean Team has won most of the gold medals at the Olympic Games as well as setting World and Olympic records in the process. Without a doubt, this method has proven to be the pinnacle in recurve archery form for high level competition.

As you can see, I am an advocate of the BEST method. There are many techniques that will work, but I feel that the BEST method will work for the most number of people. It has been tried and tested for many years and the results show for themselves. All Senior Male Recurve shooters who have scored over 1350 use the BEST method.
